  • 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Downstairs in our Irish Pub

Liz McNicholl grew up in a small village in Co. Meath, Ireland and was using a skipping rope for her microphone at age 3. The love of music continued ever since.

Liz immigrated to the United States at 18 where she spent a short time in Boston and later moved to New York.  The plan was to be in the States for just a year. Needless to say, she fell in love with America and decided to stay.  She has now made her home in Hamden, CT.

Liz has the joy of continuing performing as a soloist and with her band playing a variety of styles of music from Celtic to Americana, and Folk music.

Liz has played at venues across the country and at local venues such as Cafe Nine, Arts and Ideas Festival, The Outer Space, The CT Folk Festival, The Acoustic Cafe, Savin Rock Festival, The Levitt Pavilion to name a few.  Liz has also been on several tours across the globe with the acclaimed group "Cherish The Ladies" playing at concert halls and festivals and has been featured on many TV interviews (Irish TV, WTHN, CT Style, and Good Morning CT).

She has released three CDs, "Grand Central Station", "Tiny Lights", and a self titled album "The Crickstones" (former name of her band - now “The Liz McNicholl Band”.  Her music can be bought directly from her "Store" page, and is also available on all the usual online options: iTunes/Apple Music, Amazon, CD Baby and YouTube. *And* if you're lucky enough to be booking a flight to Ireland, you'll hear her singing while "on hold" with Aer Lingus.
