AOH Thanksgiving Food Drive
The Ancient Order of Hibernians Hartford Division 2 is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Food Drive on Sunday, November 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Collection will take place at Christ the King Parish in Wethersfield at 601 Silas Deane Highway in the parking lot that is between the church and the Silas Deane Middle School.
In addition, we have set up a bin at the club for those members that want to drop off donations anytime the club is open this week through Saturday night.
The food will be given to the pantry at Saint Augustine Church in Hartford, who will be distributing it to families for their Thanksgiving meal.
Please bring Thanksgiving non-perishable "side items" like canned cranberry sauce and vegetables, stuffing mix, gravy, instant mashed potatoes, cookies for dessert, etc. At this drive, we will also be accepting grocery store gift cards for Saint Augustine to distribute to those in need.
